1. Terms & Conditions:

Condition

All items are guaranteed genuine originals, published or printed around the time specified.  We do not sell reproductions.  The condition of each article is described as accurately as possible noting serious flaws and any imperfections.

Ordering

Items may be reserved by phone but all orders require confirmation in writing (by email).  To be eligible to purchase the goods on this website and lawfully enter into and form contracts with us, you must be; over 18 years of age or if under 18 years of age be under the supervision of a parent or guardian, be legally capable of binding into a contract.

Returns

(Please contact us first). If a buyer is not satisfied for whatever reason they may return the item for a full refund of the purchase price provided that this is instigated within 7 days after receiving the item(s) and at the expense of the buyer in the same condition as received, properly packaged and fully insured. Depending on the circumstances we will endeavour to provide a full refund or replacement if that is possible.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order for the goods prior to confirmation of dispatch of your items, so long as you contact us in writing (email).  Your cancellation notice must quote your name, address, description of the goods and your order reference number.

Any cancellations after dispatch please refer to returns policy above.

We give you the right to cancel your order without giving a reason as required by the Distance Selling Regulations. The cancellation period begins on the day after the day on which you receive the goods and ends on the expiry of 7 working days. This is described as the cooling off period. You may be charged for the cost of returning the goods to us if you cannot present them in person. But all other monies are refunded including the initial cost of shipping the goods to you. Where you exercise your right to cancel, we will refund your money within 30 days of the cancellation date. This section has been introduced to incorporate the new European Directive on distance selling which is incorporated into UK law by The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

Delivery/Shipping

The cost of delivery for all purchases is £2.60 with an option on the checkout page to select insured and tracked post at a cost of £7.50. These postage costs will only be charged once per transaction even on multiple purchases. We will endeavour to post items within 2 working days of full payment being received. This will be confirmed by email to the email address you have provided us with. Items that aren’t bulky and have a value of less than £100 will all be dispatched via Royal Mail, as such, different countries have different delivery times. Approximate expected delivery within the UK should be 2 to 4 working days, mainland Europe should be within 7 to 10 working days, USA, South America. Canada and Australia should be 10-14 working days. All other countries can be approximated from the above postal zones or you can contact us with any specific enquiries regarding delivery times. Proof of posting is obtained in every instance and we cannot be held responsible for any delays or losses by any postal service. What we can offer is a fully traceable insured postal service to any country and will require payment for what it costs us. We do NOT charge for any materials or labour costs involved in making your items safe to post. We use top quality materials and most items where suitable will be posted rolled in strong mailing tubes unless you explicitly tell us otherwise. Items that are mounted or framed will be delivered under different procedures i.e. Glass will be removed prior to despatch, unless arrangements can be made for individual requirements (Please contact us.), smaller frames and mounts will be boxed or placed in strong mailing envelopes. We use several carriers, separate insurance may be necessary to cover individual shipments.

If we agree to supply any goods ordered from the website for delivery outside the United Kingdom, they may be subject to import duties and/or additional taxes or expenses incurred due to complying with foreign regulatory requirements or laws.  You will be responsible for payment or any such duties and or taxes in addition to our price and the cost of delivery.  Please note we have no control over these charges.

Please note that when shipping products internationally you should be aware that cross border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.  Please note that you must comply with all the applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the goods are destined.  We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.

The default currency for our prices is quoted in UK Pounds and you will be billed in Sterling. Payments can be made by the following methods.  You do not need a PayPal account to pay  by Debit or Credit card.

This policy has been prepared by Artframer to comply with the current law regarding data protection, and is now operational as of the 25th May 2018 and will be reviewed on 1st May 2019. Artframer has always treated personal data with the highest confidentiality and care and this policy is just reinforcing Artframer’s working ethos.

Artframer needs to gather and use certain information about individuals. These can include customers, suppliers, business contacts, employees, and other people the organisation has a relationship with or may need to contact.

This policy describes how this personal data must be collected, handled, and stored to meet the company’s data protection standards and to comply with the law. In this instance Artframer is the Controller and the Processor of such data.

Your data is used for clear and efficient business communication between Artframer and individuals such as dealing with a request, invoicing, being able to create and develop a website or an application, providing training on how to edit a website etc.

On occasion your data might be used for marketing purposes and individuals have the option to opt out from marketing communication.

Personal data will not be disclosed to a third party without the consent of the individual unless such party is a legitimate law enforcement agency allowed to collect personal data.

How Do We Store Your Data?

All personal data may be stored digitally or on paperwork for relevant tax authorities etc. our server is dealt with by other parties who have their own policies and use approved cloud computing services for storage as well as digital safes to ensure the best security possible. The software(s) we use represent(s) a fair and adequate IT protection of personal data in compliance with our current ethos and budget. All paperwork and information kept on paper in stored in a safe place and that if processors are used they do the same by sticking to our strict code of conduct.

Strong passwords are always in use to protect individuals and never disclosed to unauthorised people either within the company or externally.

Data Accuracy:

The law requires Artframer to take reasonable steps to ensure data is kept accurate and up to date however Artframer cannot be held responsible for people not providing accurate and current personal information, or not responding to Artframer’s requirement for updated information.

The personal data is kept as long as an individual is in a commercial relationship with Artframer. When that relationship expires all data related to the individual(s) will be deleted within 48hrs unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, Artframer is unable to access some digital device: in such a case Artframer will delete the appropriate information as soon as possible.

Access Request:

All individuals who are the subject of personal data held by Artframer are entitled to access the following:

o What information we hold about them and why

o Be informed how to keep it up to date and how to access it

o Be informed on Artframer’s policy revision
