Description:  Engraving after the book “The Comic Romance of Monsieur Scarron” Translated by Oliver Goldsmith. We find the caricatures of  Ragotin and Roque-brune involved in a mishap, while they had shown concern for Ragotin, Roque-brune’s accident was attended with load shouts and laughter from the coaches (Pages 226 -228 Chapter XX. Vol. I Printed for W.Griffin in Catharine Street, Strand. 1775.) No. 6 on top line, plate mark.
